3.1. Community-driven update!

Previs Pro adds Pose Mode and Hand Presets—more control, faster, cinematic storytelling.

Introducing Pose Mode, Hand Pose presets, and a series of user-requested workflow refinements to make storyboarding and scene creation more expressive and precise.

This update expands how creators can shape characters and compositions – offering deeper control over body positioning, gestures, and object alignment within the 3D canvas.

Pose Mode: precision character control

The all-new Pose Mode gives users hands-on control of character articulation, enabling adjustments to shoulders, wrists, thighs, and ankles. The feature allows for finely tuned poses that better capture performance, emotion, and physical storytelling.

Pose Mode supports ReadyPlayerMe user-imported character models.

Accompanying this is a new Hand Pose preset tool, offering a library of predefined hand positions for quick, expressive adjustment – helping creators shape character intent and gesture without tedious setup.

“Our community asked for more direct, intuitive control over character posing, and this release delivers exactly that,” said Ian Lynch Smith, founder of Previs Pro. “With Pose Mode and Hand Pose presets, creators can design more dynamic, believable scenes in less time.”

Workflow refinements based on user feedback

Alongside Pose Mode, this release includes several practical updates to improve accuracy and cross-platform performance:

  • Rotation angle display – shows exact rotation values on the 3D canvas for precise placement.
  • Max height increase – doubles the vertical movement range for props, lights, and characters from 10 to 20 meters.
  • Cross-platform unlock fix – resolves purchase-sync issues between iOS and macOS.

Each change reflects Previs Pro’s ongoing commitment to user-driven development and responsive tool design.
